Cereal Surprise Cookies

1 (6oz) pkg. Butterscotch Chips or Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
1/2 c. Peanut Butter
1 1/2 c. Toasted Oats Cereal
1/2 c. Flaked Coconut
2 c. Mini Marshmallows
1 c. M&Ms

Heat butterscotch or chocolate chips and butter in saucepan. Stir constantly until melted. Remove from heat and stir in cereal and cocount, then stir in marshmallows and M&Ms. Drop teaspoons onto wax paper. Let stand for one hour. Makes 3 dozen cookies.

Belgian Waffles

2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
8 eggs, separated
1/2 c. margarien or butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 c. milk

In small bowl, mix flour and salt. Set aside. In a large bowl, beat egg whites with electric mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form. In another large bowl, beat egg yolks with electric mixer on high speed until thickened and lemon colored - about 5 minutes. Stir in melted butter or margarien and vanilla. Slowly add flour mixture and milk to yolk mixture, beating well after each addition. Fold egg whites into yolk mixture. Prepare according to waffle iron directions.

Breakfast Pizza

1 pkg. Crescent Rolls
8 eggs, beaten
Sausage, Ham or Bacon, drained well
Mushrooms and Green Pepper, cooked and drained
Cheddar cheese, grated

Place rolls in 9×13 pan, flattened out. Add ingredients in order. Bake 20 minutes or longer at 400*

Walla Walla Sweet Breakfast Pie

9 inch pie shell, partially baked
5 med. onions, thin sliced (Walla Walla “sweets” preferably)
3 tbsp. butter or margarine
4 eggs
1/2 c. sour cream
Salt & pepper to taste
6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 c. swiss cheese, shredded

In a large skillet, cook onion in margarine over very low heat until transparent, but not browned. Add a little water when necessary to prevent browning. In a medium bowl, beat eggs. Add sour cream and seasonings. Sprinkle bacon in pie shell, then top with cooked onions. Pour egg mixture over all and top with shredded cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Light Waffles

3 Eggs, separated
2 c. Milk
2 c. Flour
4 tsp. Baking Powder
3/4 tsp Salt
1/3 c. Oil
1 tsp vanilla

Beat egg whites in a grease-free bowl until stiff. Combine all remaming ingredients including egg yolks into separate bowl and mix until smooth. Fold egg whites gently into batter mix. Bake in waffle iron on high for about 4 minutes.
